Chase Clarke ’21, upcoming Wake Forest graduate

We wanted to highlight and celebrate an incredible LAUNCH alumni, Chase Clark, who continues to inspire and impact everyone around her.

It has been an honor to be a part of her college and career journey for the last six years, and we will continue to support, advise, and cheer her on as she continues to use courage and kindness to change the world.

What was your College LAUNCH Year and Cohort?
I was a part of the Winston-Salem Cohort (LAUNCH Class of 2020-2021).

Where do you attend college and what are you involved in?
I attend Wake Forest University, where I am a double major in African American Studies and Communication. On campus, I stay actively engaged in a range of leadership and service roles. I currently serve as the outgoing President of the Black Student Alliance, a President’s Aide, and a Resident Advisor, among other campus initiatives that allow me to build community and support my peers.

What are you doing now? Update us on any personal and professional achievements you’d like to share.
This June, I will be matriculating into my internship with Tiffany & Co., which I’m incredibly excited about. I’m looking forward to gaining hands-on experience and continuing to grow professionally while representing the values and preparation that LAUNCH helped instill in me.

What is you favorite College LAUNCH memory?
One of my favorite LAUNCH memories was the essay writing workshop. It was one of my earliest experiences learning how to thoughtfully articulate my story, which became an invaluable skill throughout the college application process and beyond.

How has LAUNCH helped set you up for your future?
LAUNCH played a critical role in helping me navigate the college process—from essay writing to learning how to build meaningful connections and network while on campus. The guidance and preparation I received gave me the confidence to take advantage of opportunities and fully engage in my college experience.

What is one thing you’d say to current LAUNCH Scholars?
Lean in! Take full advantage of every opportunity, resource, and connection that LAUNCH offers—you never know which moment or relationship will help shape your path.
